While over 90% of care happens in the home vs. in the hospital, virtually, all family caregivers (54 million and rapidly increasing in the US alone) are unsupported, untrained, and unpaid. These gaps in caregiver support profoundly decrease the quality of care while contributing to large avoidable costs for healthcare systems and employers.

ianacare is an integrated platform that organizes and mobilizes all the different layers of caregiving support and personalized guidance. Using data-informed and human-centered anthropological design, ianacare partners with major employers and health plans to provide a platform with the resources, education, and team organization needed throughout the complex journey of caring for a loved one. About the Role 

We are in serious growth mode and looking for a goal-oriented, highly motivated self-starter to join the commercial team as a Business Development Representative. Your work will contribute directly to the commercial teams’ overall impact within the organization. In this role, you’ll generate new sales-qualified leads to build our revenue pipeline.

Reporting to the VP, Head of Sales & Partnerships, and working closely with the Marketing team, you will drive leads and foster new business relationships with senior HR, Benefits leads, and health & benefit consultants through outbound outreach. Equipped with an extensive sales enablement toolkit and marketing content, you will utilize multiple channels to reach prospects to set up new appointments.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the B2B Marketing Manager to create compelling and engaging multi-channel outbound prospecting campaigns. 
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing Manager to nurture qualified leads from conferences, webinars, and other events to generate new appointments.
  • Develop quarterly go-to-market business plan aligned to meeting setting quota.
  • Generating new appointments in their respective territories. 
  • Maintain consistent and meaningful prospect outreach via phone, email, and social platforms (LinkedIn).
  • Possess a strong understanding of the ianacare solution, the HR and Benefits market, and our key competitors and differentiation. 
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospects’ objections and rejections.
  • Meet monthly quotas for qualified appointments.
  • Maintain an active social presence on LinkedIn that generates strong brand awareness and helps aid in prospecting efforts.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • You get excited about developing new business opportunities and are unafraid to reach out to potential prospects across email, phone, on LinkedIn, or  in-person
  • You are comfortable doing light background research on companies and prospects to ensure you can deliver thoughtful, highly personalized messages to them.
  • You are highly organized with the ability to manage competing tasks and priorities.
  • You have an interest in account based sales and marketing strategy and are excited to collaborate with both teams to build these types of campaigns.
  • You are detail oriented and able to converse and engage with senior-level decision-makers at large organizations.
  • You are unafraid to find new ways to optimize your workflow to ensure you are maximizing efficiency.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • 1-2+ years experience in selling in an outbound B2B role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other sales & research tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and towards measurable goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
